Release Notes January 2018

New year, new features! We’ve been working hard in January to bring you the latest and greatest version of our booking software. To keep you updated on everything, we present to you the newest edition of Release Notes for January 2018.

This edition of Release Notes include:

  • Managing your sales channels with the new Channel Manager
  • New section for your social media profiles
  • Reservation template in the Email editor
  • New payment options
  • Reviews can now be sorted by event date
  • Bundles – new duration settings

The New Channel Manager

We made some changes to sales channels. Now you’ll find the new section ‘Channel Manager’ in your dashboard instead of ‘sales channels’ in the ‘manage offers’ section. There you find your sales channels overview and categories for sales channels.

New section for your social media channels

Having multiple social media channels is absolutely essential nowadays. They give your customers the oportunity to check out your company and interact with you, even before booking an offer. Furthermore, they give customers the chance to review their experience with your business which can lead to possibly inspiring new customers as well.

To add your social media profiles you simply go to marketing > social media in your dashboard. If you need more information how to add your social media profiles, you can take a look at our article.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reservation-template in the Email Editor

We offer you a new POS email template for reservations. With the email editor you can not only individualize reservation templates but also booking and reminder templates.

You can find all your templates in your dashboard. Go to Messages > Notifications and read our article about the email editor.

New payment options

We already covered our new payment options in a recent blog, make sure you check it out! Naturally our ‘older’ payment options such as PayPal and credit cards are still available, but we now added new payment methods such as:

  • WeChat Pay
  • iDeal
  • Giropay
  • Bancontact
  • AliPay

Sort reviews by event date

Transparency is very important for businesses nowadays, and there is probably nothing better for showing transparency than real reviews by customers. When it comes to deciding whether to buy a product or not, reviews are becoming more and more important for customers.

To analyze your reviews more efficiently, you can now sort them by event dates. Besides this option of sorting reviews, you have many other possibilities for managing them as well. Read our article to find out how our review module works.

Bundles – new duration settings

Bundles consist of at least two of your existing offers and are presented as a single product. This is a useful feature for providing customers with even better-tailored options and selling them according to special rates and terms. What’s more, it gives you the option to package best-selling products with ones that are not quite so high in demand, thereby increasing your sales.

If you use bundles, you can now set up how long a bundle remains active in your list of offers. All information about bundles can be found in this article.
