Our team works continuously on our booking system in order to simplify your business and make your life easier. Learn about the latest updates and new features Regiondo has to offer and how it helps you stay on top of what matters the most.

This edition of Release Notes includes:

Die App erkennt Barcodes in Sekundenschnelle



The Regiondo app provides you with instant barcode recognition and uses next generation scan technology to provide the best user experience. Our lightning-fast scanning speed meets the demands of busy tour providers and activity businesses around the globe. More efficient than traditional barcode scanners, our software-based scanner uses the power of your handheld device and turns it into an accurate, high speed ticket scanner made specifically for the leisure industry.

Watch as the app recognizes our barcode in seconds – for those who find things go too fast, there’s a barcode on the lower edge of the image. 🙂

With the Regiondo app, a large number of tickets can be validated in the shortest possible time, so you have more time for your customers. With intuitive and lightning-fast feedback, you’ll know in a few seconds whether or not a ticket is valid, and also receive all the booking details. This makes it possible for anyone to operate the scanner without any prior knowledge, thus ensuring a smooth ticket validation process.

We are very happy to present a new function for individualizing your Email Opt-in to you. From now on you can choose between four different Opt-in solutions for your e-mail confirmation. To create your own individual Opt-in solution go to Marketing > Email Opt-in in your dashboard.

With the help of Opt-in functions you can ask your customer for permission on recieving promotional emails during the check out process. We differentiate between four options:

Make sure that your decission for your Email Opt-in is conformable to the Eu General Data Protection Regulation to exclude legal consequences beforehand. For further information on the Eu General Data Protection regulation click here.

3D Secure is an authenticated payment system to improve online transaction security and encourage the growth of e-commerce payments. Collectively Visa, MasterCard and AMEX secure systems are brand identities of the 3D Secure Cardholder Authentication Scheme. 3D Secure systems recreate the high level of security of a physical payment environment by requesting further payment authentication. The objective is to provide a safe and secure online payment experience across all three domains using a password that is validated by the card issuer and further checked by all other parties involved in the transaction.

If a credit card owner is registered for the 3D Secure Option he/she will see an extra site during the payment process. This will be provided by the customers bank. The customer needs to enter his password which is exclusively known by him/herself and the bank. The payment process will only get through the security check if the customer enters the correct password. Mastercard calls this solution “Mastercard Secure Code” while  Visa uses the term “Verified by Visa”. If the buyer of your product can’t provide the correct password, the transaction will not be completed.

Your Regiondo dashboard offers two possibilities for activating the 3D Secure Option. You can choose between asking for all cards supporting 3D Secure when a customer buys your product or aksing for cards with required 3D Secure only. Please keep in mind when selecting these options, that this represents an additional step for your customer during his payment process. On the other hand, this method offers you transactions that are much safer and prevents frauds.

With this new feature you can now make it possible to activate coupon codes without actually having to manually enter it during the order process. Thanks to this, you can create a link which automatically activates the coupon code when the customer clicks it.

The feature lets you edit the URL for its path individually, to automatically subtract the coupon code from your customers shopping cart. You can use this for instance to offer a discount through your newsletter, your ticket shop or your landing page with individual links for your customer.

To make your work a little easier we tidied up your Regiondo dashboard. From now on you can individualize your order options for your online shop and your POS seperately. To define order options for your shop, simply go to Shop Configuration > Order Options. The settings for your POS can be found under POS Configuration > Order Options.

Furthermore you can now check tickets and vouchers in your dashboard. With this you can gather information regarding tickets and vouchers in lightnig-like fashion. You will find this function under Ticket Validation in your dashboard.
